Ok, so the season is inching closer and closer and I'm excited to watch nothing but football for the next couple of months. I'm especially excited to see how the Warriors do this season. Nothing is going to top last years incredible run, but if the football gods love us, we'll go undefeated again and this time win a BCS bowl game. However the likelyhood of that happening is very slim. I already have my season tickets...and I plan to catch their games on the road by being somewhere to watch them. More than likely you'll find me at the bar along with the rest of the UH fans.

A new beginning is upon us here at Hawaii. Coach McMackin brings a new sense of direction that seems to be going the right way right now. But then again the season hasn't even started so of course everything is going right. The main issue right now for the Warriors is who is going to run the offense and who is going to step up on the wide receiver spot. Graunke was suppose to lead us this year, but that's probably not going to happen, and Funaki, I don't know about him all that much but I do believe he'll get the nod to start the season as our QB. We have 2 good looking guys from the Juco world, but time will tell if they get a chance this year.

I was geared up for atleast a Wild Card Playoff run by the Atlanta Braves, but that doesn't seem like its going to happen. Trust me I'm not bailing out the season, just not really paying all that much attention to them. I never would of thought it would be hard to watch them, but this season it is. All the injuries took its toll and now we are young guys trying to MLB baseball. It's rough to watch.

Watching guys like Smoltz, Glavine, Chipper, Hampton(who I've never liked) go down for extended periods of time, really hurt this teams chances. With Francouer playing like garbage and now with the trade of Tex, who I think we got lowballed a little bit this season has turned for the worst. We can't even make it to third place. I really believe that Smoltz and Glavine will retire and if they don't I really feel they should. It's not to say that can't be dominate like they were, I just feel that its time to move on. Chipper should come do atleast one more season, and let the young guys try to prove themselves. I really shouldn't be saying this but we should try to trade Frenchie...his bat is worse than a babe ruth league kids bat. Not saying I could do any better but I know I'm patient at the plate!
